The Rossford Schools Board of Education hired Dave Duhamel as Buildings and Grounds Supervisor at the December meeting, his first day with the district was Jan. 7. Current Buildings and Grounds Supervisor Ron Weaks announced he is retiring at the end of this school year.
Mr. Duhamel will be working alongside Mr. Weaks as well as
preparing for the opening of our two new schools that will occur in the next
calendar year. It was essential for the board to bring on Mr. Duhamel now as he
is making plans for the security measures at the new district facilities.
“We thank Mr. Weaks for his years of service,” Superintendent Dan Creps said. “He has been a great asset for the district. We look forward to adding Mr. Duhamel to our staff. He comes from a strong pool of candidates and very highly regarded.”
Mr. Duhamel has served as the head custodian for Perrysburg High
School since 2014 and was previously assistant head custodian from 2009 to
2014.
