School Forms for 2018-2019 Academic Year

Back-To-School forms (Information Update) are currently available via the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Children who were just enrolled in kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year will not have back to school forms to complete.

We are asking you to complete the electronic form as soon as possible because it contains important questions regarding transportation for the upcoming school year. These questions are vital due to construction in the district. You do need to complete one form for each child.

Our goal is to have as many forms completed by Aug. 1 as we are updating transportation routes with this information.

It is very important that we have up-to-date information regarding your child, in the event of an emergency. We also need your approval for the Field Trip, Internet Use and Handbook forms. Students will not be permitted to go on field trips within or outside of the district until these forms are completed. This is for the safety of our students.

At the request of parents, there is now the option to pay school fees online. There is, however, a payment management service fee (3.49%) charged by the vendor. Online payment is not required to complete the form. You have the option to select check/cash, if that is your preferred payment method. If you select check or cash as a payment method, please pay at your child’s school.

The forms may be completed from a computer or a mobile device. The forms have been updated and are also very user friendly on mobile devices. Scheduling is not complete at this time and is subject to change. Please do not call or email your building about scheduling yet before it is finalized.  

Instructions:

  1. Log into the Parent Portal from our website at www.rossfordschools.org. The link to the Parent Portal is located in the center of the page when you scroll halfway down the main page (PowerSchool Parent Portal).  If you do not remember your password, you can reset it by providing the email and username associated with the account.

  2. Once logged in, scroll down to the Back-to-School Information Update icon located on the bottom left side of the portal. Click/tap the icon to begin the forms. You will be prompted for your child’s birthdate. Review the information, correct any items that have changed, and fill in any information that is marked as required.

Note: If you have the PowerSchool app on your phone or other device, you cannot use the app to complete the forms. You must open a browser and log into the Parent Portal via the browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari).
