Eagle Point Receives "EXCELLENT" rating!!!!

Welcome Back Eagles!!
Eagle Point welcomed our students back to school with our theme for the year, "WILD FOR LEARNING". We had a python snake and two horses at school to visit with our students and make them "WILD" for learning. We want to thank Rossford Police Officer Jodi Johnson and her parents for bringing the horses up to the school. Mr. Taylor would like to thank Mr. Jan Young a teacher at East Broadway Middle School for loaning us his snake, "Monty" the python. It made for a very exciting first day of school.
The Eagles are EXCELLENT!!
Eagle Point students did an amazing job on the spring Ohio Achievement Tests (OAT). We are very proud of them. For the first time Eagle Point School has moved up from the State of Ohio rating of "Effective" to a rating of "EXCELLENT"! There are twelve areas (State Indicators) that are measured on the tests and our students passed all twelve indicators! We also had a Performance Index Score of 102.2, which is our highest score ever! This is a tremendous achievement and we want to recognize our students and staff for all of their hard work and dedication. Not only did our school have an excellent rating, but we also helped the entire Rossford District receive an "Excellent" rating. We would like to say, "Great Job!" to all of the other schools for working so hard to achieve this rating. Keep up the great work! Remember, Eagle Point students are "WILD" for learning!! We have listed the twelve indicator scores below for your reference. In order to pass the indicator we had to have 75% of our students be proficient on the test. Attendance needs to be 93% to pass the indicator.

Eagle Point Parent Club- E.P.P.C.
Eagle Point Parent Club (EPPC) The Eagle Point Parent Club or EPPC will be having their monthly meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The next meeting is on Wednesday, September 10th at 7 p.m., we hope to see you there! We would like to thank our new EPPC officers for their hard work already this year and we look forward to all of the great events they have planned for our students. New Logo for our school
Mr. Taylor has been working with a design agency to develop a new logo for our
school. We would like to have a clothing sale very soon with our new logo. We hope you like it.
