Two Bulldogs introduced to RHS Athletic Hall of Fame

The Rossford High School Athletic Hall of Fame introduced its 28th Class Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 with inductees Chad Middaugh and Jeremy Espinoza. Golf Coach Del Clayton introduced Chad Middaugh, a 2003 graduate before Wrestling Coach Ron Recknagel introduced 2007 graduate Jeremy Espinoza at an induction ceremony in the high school auditorium. Afterward the two were presented with their Hall of Fame plaques before the varsity boys basketball game by Athletic Director Pat Murtha. Mr. Middaugh was a three-sport star who carried a 3.73 grade-point average and had a perfect attendance record for all four years of . . .

Free-of-Charge Substitute Teacher In-service

Do you possess a non-educational Bachelor’s degree and have an interest in becoming a substitute teacher?  The Rossford School District is hosting a free in-service for those individuals interested in learning more about substitute teaching in the Rossford School District. Individuals without teaching experience, substitute teachers employed by area school districts, and current Rossford School District substitute teachers who have not attended a previous session are invited to attend. Preschool Program Receives 5-Star Rating Again

For the second consecutive year the preschool program of the Rossford Schools has been recognized as a Five-Star Program by the Ohio Department of Education and Ohio Jobs and Family Services. The evaluation is based on a quality rating system called Step Up to Quality, which ranks public and private early childhood programs on scale of one to five. Rossford’s public preschool program, which is housed at Glenwood Elementary School, earned the highest possible five-star rating. Rossford Junior High School receives 'Momentum' award from State

The Ohio Department of Education honored Rossford Junior High School with the 'Momentum' Award for its progress and value-added in the state report card released this fall.  "It is a great honor to receive this Momentum award," RJHS Principal Bryan Skrzyniecki said.
