Award of Distinction goes to Joseph 'Moe' Minarcin

The Rossford School District will hold this year’s Award of Distinction Ceremony on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. in the Rossford High School Auditorium.  This year’s honoree, Mr. Joseph “Moe” Minarcin, Jr., will be recognized at the 2017 Award of Distinction Ceremony for his significant contributions to society. Facilities Update at August 21 Board of Education Meeting

The Collaborative-TMP architects delivered an update on the construction process and design planning during Monday’s Rossford Schools Board of Education meeting. The presentation detailed current construction and renderings/maps for future work. “I’m pleased to announce the schematic design is finished,” Superintendent Dan Creps said. “But we’re still early in the process.” Dave Serra of The Collaborative said design refinement will continue for the high school/junior high school and elementary school projects. Time to Update Your InfoSnap Back-to-School Information

We are very excited to inform you that the 2017-2018 InfoSnap Back-to-School forms are now available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. As you know, we started something new with our yearly forms last school year. We moved all of our forms to an online version and made the forms available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal where you have 24/7 access to your student’s grades and attendance. If you remember, we asked you to complete most of the information because we wanted to ensure accurate data in our system. Adjusted School Lunch Guidelines

Dear Rossford Schools Community, After the release of new USDA guidelines and careful review of our policy and procedures with our food service program we want to share adjustments being made as a result. In the past we provided ‘emergency meals’ for students who surpassed the district determined charge limit. The USDA advised against this practice, and recommends reimbursed lunches are provided instead. This has no effect for students who qualify for free lunches. Updating District Transportation Guidelines

Dear Rossford Schools Parents/Guardians, We are updating our transportation forms and guidelines, which you will find below.  These revisions will assist parents and school personnel with advanced planning and will help account for how our students are transported to and from home safely.
