Welcome to the Instrumental Music Program at Rossford High School. I hope this web site will prove to be a valuable tool for both students and parents. Students enrolled in band participate in Marching Band in the fall and Concert Band in the winter & spring.
The “Bulldog” Marching Band performs at all varsity football games. The band also participates in the Put-in-Bay “Historic Weekend” activities and concludes the marching season by performing in the Rossford Halloween Parade.
The Concert Band offers presentations at a Spring Concert in March, an Awards Concert in May and at Graduation in May. Other musical organizations that are sub-members of the Varsity Band are Pep Band, Jazz Band and Solo & Ensemble.
The Pep Band performs at basketball games during December, January and February. The Jazz Band performs at concerts and during the Rossford Business Fair. Members of the Varsity Band have the opportunity to perform as a soloist or in an ensemble at District One Solo & Ensemble festival in January.
The Rossford High School Band has toured and performed in Washington D.C., New York City, Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, Baltimore, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, and Orlando. The band opens the school year with a performance at the first football game and closes the school year with the Recessional at Graduation. The Rossford High School Band performs for more people, approximately 50,000 annually, and is the most active performance ensemble in the Rossford Schools.

Please include the name of the band member that these are related to. When important events arise, you will be notified well in advance with information about performance times, dress, program selections, etc.
