  13. My grand-daughter offered a special surprise for us on Monday morning March 2nd 2009.  As we worked on getting Chloe ready for school I had a serious problem with my wheelchair.  The seat popped, losing the weld on the crossbar and sent me nearly on the floor.  Chloe kept herself under control and took over.  Being that I was restricted to my bed, she (at 5 years old), continued to ready herself for school, set up the respiratory treatment for her Poppy, brought the phones to both us us, checked her bookback for needed items, and led herself to the bus stop by herself.  Not only did she keep her head cool at a very stressful moment, but assisted both her grand-parents (both with physical disabilities) to maintain that cool head and assist us with all of our needs before heading to school.  What a blessing we have in this child.  Chloe did more than one good deed that morning.  Thanks for this program........it surely makes us appreciate all the wonderful things in our lives.
