Approximately 2,000 students are in the Rossford School District.
Nurse’s offices – or – clinics are in each elementary school and the Jr.High/High School clinic is located in the high school building.
Health Aides assist the needs of students and staff in all clinics. The school health aides work under the supervision and direction of the Rossford School Nurse, Donna Linthicum and they are all certified in CPR and First Aid. The primary responsibility of health aides is to administer basic first aid. They are not trained nor authorized to diagnose any illness or injury, but merely advise additional treatment and contact parents when a student needs to be picked up from school. The nurse and the aides follow policy and procedure as per our district guidelines.
