The Rossford School District is making significant progress on Phase I of what will be a $14 million Athletic Complex to be located at the corner of Lime City Road and I-795, just northeast of Glenwood Elementary School.
Ron Weaks, Buildings and Grounds Supervisor, and Lester Pierson, Rossford Junior High School, spent a day creating a video of the construction site to share with staff, students, and the community. The video was taken on Thursday, December 17, 2009.
Phase I has been budgeted at $4 million and will include a running track and soccer field with seating and a press box, baseball and softball diamonds, tennis courts, public restrooms, paved parking and concession stands. Of special note is that no taxpayer monies will be used in the construction of this state-of-the-art athletic complex.
