VICE PRESIDENT JOSEPH BIDEN VISITS GLENWOOD ELEMENTARY!
On Thursday, March 15th, Vice President of the United States, Mr. Joe Biden, unexpectedly visited Glenwood Elementary! We were informed Mr. Biden's motorcade would be passing along SR 795, so teachers and students were invited to wave at the passing motorcade. According to Mr. Biden, he was so excited to see our students and staff waving as he passed, he wanted to meet our students and visit our school. Mr. Biden took time to greet each student, to pose for pictures, and to even call the fathers of both Mrs. Swoap and Mr. Fallis. This experience truly was a once-in-a-lifetime educational opportunity for our students. Thank you, Mr. Biden!
