Welcome to Glenwood School's Web Site. My name is Bill Buzzell, and I am proud to be the principal at Glenwood Elementary as we “Reach for the Stars!” I hope you visit the many links that represent our school. Many are created or maintained by our Computer Club. Collectively, they represent all the wonderful parts of our school. You can see we offer a variety of activities, clubs, and services to our students. You can learn about the goings on here by surfing through PTO News, and reading about our efforts to build a new playground, or checking out the latest classroom news. Mr. Buzzell received his BA in Education and his BS in Psychology from Marietta College. He also earned his MA in Educational Administration from John Carroll University.
Since that time, he has spent eight years
teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, five years as Middle School
Asst. Principal in Olmstead Falls City Schools, and eight years
here as our principal. He has received Teacher of the Year in
Lakewood City Schools in 1991 and Coach of the Year the same
year.
He is married. He and his wife Marsha have three children. He is a huge Cleveland Indians fan, loves the Browns, Red Sox, Patriots, and the buckeyes. He loves to read historical novels. Mr. Buzzell is a former disc jockey, sportscaster, actor, and author.
DOG POUND: The Principal's DogPound is a special gathering of students who have earned the honor to eat lunch with Mr. Buzzell. The food this year is from Subway The Ice Cream Sundaes are donated by our Rossford McDonalds. Check out these great pictures of this week's DogPound!
