The new Ohio Means Jobs website has integrated job and career information for Ohoians that includes types of jobs, careers, and training, career planning and career exploration, information on scholarships, colleges and universities, and job seeking skills and resume development.

The webiste contains a dedicated K-12 section as well as resources for job seekers of any age.

Set up an idividual account, take a guided tour of the website, and even look at job postings throughout the state. 

Penta Career Center 


Penta Career Center is open to students in the Rossford school district.  

Sophomores and juniors interested in attending Penta Career Center for their junior and/or senior year should contact their high school counselor or contact the Penta Student Services & Admissions office at 419-661-6480.

Freshman interested in attending Penta during 10th grade should contact their high school counselor or contact the Penta Student Services & Admissions office at 419-666-1120 Ext. 6374.  Students must complete a Career Search Assessment before being admitted.

What is Career Connections?

•An interest inventory/assessment that is endorsed by the national States’ Career Clusters Institute.The results of the assessment provide users with recommended career options from the 16 national career pathways.
•460+ career videos with text captions for the hearing impaired. 
•Information on employment options, salaries, industry outlooks, and educational training programs.
•Job readiness tutorials for Completing a Job Application, Writing Résumés, Preparing Cover Letters, Interviewing, and Locating a Job.
•Fun career-based activities, such as Word Search, Hangman, Matching Game) for all ages
