BYOD Q and A

How do I connect my device to the Internet?

The high school has a public wireless network. The network name is Rossford_Public. Once connected you will need to accept the user agreement before being able to browse the Internet.

Many of the sites I can usually access on a school computer are blocked on my device. How do I gain access?

The filter does not know who you are. You need to authenticate to the filter with your Rossford computer user name and password. See link below for detailed instructions.

Printing- Students can print documents to school printers from their own device. Go to:

and login with your Rossford computer user name and password. Click web print in the menu then click submit a job. Next choose your printer from the list and click print options. Enter the number of copies to print and click upload document. Click choose file and browse to the file you wish to print. If you are on a Chromebook choose downloads or Google Drive from the locations on the left. Click open then upload and complete. Supported file types are Excel, Power Point, Microsoft XPS and .PDF. You can also print from your Google drive if files are saved/downloaded as a .PDF or uploaded and not converted to Google doc format.
