Eileen ChristoffersThe Patricia Gladieux Employee-of-the-Year Award, given to employees who demonstrate outstanding character in working with our children, was awarded this year to Eileen Christoffers, Ron Demko, and Lisa Kohl.
The criteria used to select honorees are those who teach or demonstrate genuine qualities beyond what is required in their daily duties, showing an exceptional level of dedication to their job, students, and community: Concern, Enthusiasm, Moral Character, Charity, Positive Attitude, and Patriotism.
A committee of peers reviewed our overwhelming number of nominations and support for these three remarkable individuals. The committee met and knew they wanted to rightfully honor their legacies with this distinction.
Eileen Christoffers, Preschool Teacher, was praised in her nomination letters for her immense love and passion for
Ron Demko every student, positive attitude, warmth, brightness, and patience with both students and staff members.
Ron Demko, Jr-Sr High Science Teacher, was commended in his nominations for being a pillar of the Rossford Community. He was recognized for his vast knowledge of science, unbridled passion for his students’ education, and unique sense of humor, which made him a popular colleague and friend among the RHS staff.
Lisa Kohl, Elementary Paraprofessional and Special Needs Aide, was applauded in her nomination letters for being kind-hearted and genuine. She demonstrated care, compassion, and concern for her students while maintaining a positive attitude and being charitable toward others.
