Our school is participating in Decision Day on May 3, 2022. Parents of participating seniors are invited to join us for this ceremony.
What is Decision Day? Decision Day is a statewide initiative to recognize high school seniors for their postsecondary plans and encourage younger students and families to prepare early for postsecondary education. Decision Day is held annually on or around May 1 and is designed to coincide with the date that most seniors must inform a college of their plans to enroll. We will begin in the auditorium at 9:00am on May 3RD. After the ceremony, participating seniors and their parents will be invited to attend a short reception in the cafeteria.
How can I participate? Seniors with postsecondary plans that include college, military or training programs may complete the form with the required information. Students must submit their Decision Day form (via Google Doc) and include a senior photo. Information can also be emailed to
[email protected].
Participating student also create a poster board displaying the school or program they intend to join. Supplies are available at the high school or students may purchase their own. Boards must be brought with the student on May 3rd (or turned into the high school before that day). If you cannot make a sign please let Mrs. Wehrmeister know so that she can attempt to get a sign created for you.
