School Canceled Wednesday for Grades 9-12

We are adjusting  classes for our high school students in grades 9-12 on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Despite our best efforts to find substitutes to fill an unusually high number of absences being taken on this day, the district cannot obtain the number of substitutes needed to hold classes for students in grades 9-12.

As a result, all classes held at the high school for students grades 9-12 are canceled and students in these grades are not to report to the high school on April 10, 2024. State mandated testing scheduled for high school students on Wednesday, April 10 will now take place on Thursday, April 11.

It is important to note that all Rossford High School students attending Penta Career Center are not impacted by this change and are expected to follow their routine schedule of classes at Penta Career Center.

To reiterate, this adjustment applies to students in grades 9-12 only on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. All other grade levels, preschool through grade 8, will proceed as usual, to include scheduled state testing for students in grades 6-8. All bus routes will also run at their usually scheduled times for all students in attendance.

We apologize for this short notice and appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through this staffing and substitute shortage.
