Welcome New Principal Nick Neiderhouse Ed.D.

Nick Neiderhouse Ed.D.Nick Neiderhouse Ed.D.The Rossford Schools Board of Education voted 5-0 during a special meeting on April 30 to approve Dr. Nick Neiderhouse as the next Rossford Junior-Senior High School Principal.

Current Principal Tony Brashear is retiring at the end of this school year and we are incredibly grateful to his service at Rossford Junior-Senior High School. Dr. Neiderhouse will transition to principal at Rossford Jr-Sr High School this summer. 

Dr. Neiderhouse joins the Rossford Schools team after serving as a principal for 11 years for Maumee City Schools. Before joining Maumee in 2013 he was an Assistant Principal at Perkins High School and Dean of Students for Monclova Primary School. Before stepping into administration, Dr. Neiderhouse was a Sixth Grade Teacher at Anthony Wayne’s Fallen Timbers Middle School.

“We are excited to have Dr. Neiderhouse join our team,” Superintendent Dan Creps said. “We think he brings good experience and a great vision for our junior-senior high school.”

Outside of school he also has been an Adjunct Professor for Bowling Green State University and Concordia University. He has also spent time as a Summer Camp Director at Maumee City Schools. He has volunteered with the Sunshine Communities Service, Calvary Church, Leukemia and Lymphoma, Feed My Starving Children Service and Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission and Vision Ministries in his spare time.

Dr. Neiderhouse completed his Doctoral Degree in Leadership and Policy Studies from Bowling Green State University in 2013.

He is a member of the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators (OAESA) where he currently serves as the Federal Relations Coordinator.  Also, with OAESA, he has spoken at many conferences and been published in their magazine numerous times. He is also a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

"I am grateful for having the opportunity to lead Rossford Junior-Senior High School,” Dr. Neiderhouse said. “I am looking forward to assisting Rossford Schools and the community in amplifying all of the great people, places, and stories that happen in the district.  My passion and commitment to serving others will be seen in numerous ways both in and out of the school settings."
