Change in Last Day of 2015-2016 School Year

  At its regular meeting on April 25, 2016, the Rossford Board of Education approved the revised 2015-2016 school year calendar.  The changes to the calendar affect the last day of school for students and teaching staff.  The last day for students will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016.  The last day for teaching staff will be Thursday, June 2, 2016. RHS Student Council to Host Senior Citizens Breakfast

Rossford High School Student Council will be hosting its annual Senior Citizens Breakfast on Tuesday, May 3, in the Rossford High School cafeteria. There will be good food, fun games, and outstanding entertainment provided by our high school students. The breakfast will start at 8:00 a.m. and will last until approximately 10:00 a.m. If you wish to attend, please contact Rossford High School's main office by Friday, April 29, at (419) 666-5262 Extension #6.

Rossford EVSD Receives Auditor of State Award

A recent financial audit of the Rossford Exempted Village School District (REVSD) by the Auditor of State’s office has returned a clean audit report.  Rossford EVSD’s excellent record keeping has earned it the  Auditor of State Award.   This is the fourth consecutive year that the district has received this prestigious award.  “Once again, the staff involved with this audit did an amazing job.  Their combined efforts are to be commended, and I am extremely proud to work with such a competent group of professionals,” stated Rossford EVSD’s Treasurer, James . . .

RHS Chess Team Competes in U.S. Chess Federation National High School K-12 Championship

April 1-3, 2016

Members of the Rossford High School Chess Team traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the U.S. Chess Federation National High School K-12 Championship from April 1-3.  Players competed in seven rounds against opponents from all over the United States.  The Bulldogs contended in two categories (under 800 and unrated).  The unrated team of Evan Taylor and Aaron Puterbaugh finished 14th and the under 800 team of Alex Chiarelott, Kyle Kelley, Zach Chiarelott, Hope Long, Mason Basden, and William Basden came in 25th.  Overall, Taylor finished the tournament in 21st, Puterbaugh placed 45th, . . .

Rossford High School Junior Regan Clay Breaks School Record

Regan Clay, a Rossford High School junior, broke the high jump record during a track meet on April 12, 2016.  Regan set a school record jump of 5’5” to capture the high jump title.  In addition, Clay is the state champion in the 400m, runner-up in the 200m, and holds seven school records in the 100m, 200m, 400m, triple jump, high jump, 4x200 relay, and 4x400 relay. The staff, students and community of the Rossford School District are extremely proud of Regan for her accomplishments!

Rossford Junior High School Athletic Department officials announce their SRING CLOTHING DRIVE . RHS Student Council Participates in Global Youth Service Day

Saturday, April 16, 2016

For the third consecutive year, Rossford High School Student Council members participated in Global Youth Service Day on Saturday, April 16.  This event is a national day that celebrates and mobilizes millions of young people in an effort to improve their communities by volunteering their services.  The group spent the day weeding and raking the grounds of Nightingale’s Harvest Food Pantry in Toledo.  In addition, they created herb gardens, spruced up flower beds, and prepared plants and the land for organic gardens.  Afterwards, the students visited the Toledo . . .
