Dear Rossford School District Families and Staff: Recent legislative changes require school districts to convert from days to hours in a school year.  Rossford Schools will be converting from days to hours beginning with the 2016-2017 school year.  Based on the District’s current arrangement, each school year shall consist of 185 days.  The Rossford School District closed seven (7) days due to poor weather conditions this school year.  In order to fulfill our contract obligation, we are . . .

High School Student Remembered at Rossford's Annual Arbor Day Celebration

A group of Rossford High School students, staff, school and city officials, as well as family and community members celebrated Rossford's annual Arbor Day by remembering the late Rossford High School student Kerry Keller.  Kerry was 17 years old when he passed away in April 2012 after a cou rageous battle with cancer. A recent financial audit of the Rossford Exempted Village School District (REVSD) by the Auditor of State Dave Yost’s office has returned a clean audit report. Rossford EVSD’s excellent record keeping has earned it the Auditor of State Award . This is the third year in a row that the district has received this prestigious award. Students Compete in 2015 National High School Championship

The Rossford High School Chess Team traveled to the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, Ohio to compete with over 1,500 other players in the 2015 National High School (K-12) Championship from April 10-12.  Over the course of three days, players competed in seven rounds. RHS Student Council Participates in Global Youth Service Day

On Saturday, April 18, the Rossford High School Student Council participated in Global Youth Service Day.  This day encourages young people around the world to actively participate in making a difference within their communities through service.  This year, members of Student Council visited Providence Park in Grand Rapids, Ohio.  The students helped clean the park and placed mulch around flower beds and various signs.  They were given a private tour on the history behind the Mill and the Canal.  . . .

Students Inducted into the RHS National Honor Society

Safety Town Program

The Rossford Police Department will present their Safety Town program from June 15-19, 2015, at Eagle Point Elementary School, 203 Eagle Point Road, Rossford, Ohio  43460.  The program is offered to all children enrolled in kindergarten. Safety Town is a program designed to help children deal with situations that they have not yet encountered, such as, safety in the home, on the playground and in the street.  The program will be taught by staff members of Rossford Schools, with a limit of fifteen . . .

Rossford community members are asked to nominate a deserving candidate who has graduated from Rossford High School prior to 1985 and who has made significant contributions to society. Nomination forms are available at the Rossford Public Library, the Rossford Community Recreation Center, the Rossford Schools Administrative Offices at Indian Hills, and each Rossford school's main office.
