Rossford High School staff will hold an informational meeting for the College Credit Plus program on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, in the Rossford High School Auditorium. This meeting is required for all students and parents who wish to take part in the College Credit Plus program for the 2016-2017 school year. The College Credit Plus program allows eligible students in grades 7-12 to take courses and earn high school and college credit that appear on both their high school and college transcripts. Students will be able to follow a 15-credit or 30-credit option of courses offered by Ohio public and private . . .
Ms. Yoder’s kindergarten class celebrated 100 days of school by counting to 100 by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s. The students learned how to make 100 tally marks. They ate their way through 100 snacks.They even made a class book showing their 100’s collections that the students brought to school.The students also saw how many times they had to roll a dice to get to 100. Rossford School District officials are proud to announce that Bethany N. Price, Rossford High School senior, has been selected as a candidate for the United States Presidential Scholars Program. The Rossford High School Drama Club, under the direction of Julie Zatko and Ryan Mahaffey, has been selected for the second consecutive year to perform the Winter production at the Ohio Educational Theater Alliance in Dublin, Ohio. Rossford community member Connie Mierzejewski was recognized at the Rossford boys' basketball game on Saturday, January 23, 2016, for her service to the Maverick Basketball program. The Rossford Chess Team competed in the two-day Greater Toledo Area High School Chess League Annual Beach Tournament over January 23-24. Overall, the team placed 4th out of 11 teams.
