Construction continues to move forward steadily, with several major milestones completed and new phases now underway.
Completed and Nearing Completion
Much of the site's foundational work is now substantially complete, including site preparation, underground utilities and building foundations. Inside the building, masonry work in the gymnasium is nearing completion, while underground electrical and plumbing installations throughout the facility are also approaching completion.
Another recent milestone was the successful concrete pour for the mechanical well located above the stage area, helping prepare the building for future mechanical systems installation.
Structural Work Underway
Crews have begun erecting structural steel at the south end of the building and will continue progressing northward throughout the coming weeks. As the steel framework expands, the overall shape and scale of the facility will become increasingly visible.
Looking Ahead
Beginning in June, construction activities will focus on widening the driveway, installing sidewalks and completing the remaining utility work associated with the new loop road. These improvements are important steps in preparing the site for student, staff and visitor traffic when the facility opens.
Later this month, families will begin to see roofing work and exterior metal wall framing take shape. Additional concrete pours will also continue as construction progresses.
