Health Services

Approximately 1,700 students are in our district. The nurse’s offices – or – clinics are in Rossford Elementary School and the Junior-Senior High School.

Health Aides assist the needs of students and staff in all clinics. The school health aides work under the supervision and direction of the Rossford School Nurse Donna Linthicum and they are all certified in CPR and First Aid. The primary responsibility of health aides is to administer basic first aid. They are not trained nor authorized to diagnose any illness or injury, but merely advise additional treatment and contact parents when a student needs to be picked up from school. The nurse and the aides follow policy and procedure as per our district guidelines.

Mrs. Linthicum services all schools by dividing her time between them. You can also contact the clinic at any of the schools directly. The phone numbers are as follows:

                            Rossford Junior-Senior High School         419-666-5262 X 4

                            Rossford Elementary School                     419-666-8130 X 6

Please review your student’s school handbook in reference to policy and procedures regarding illness and medication.
