Dawn Burks, President

Dawn Burks
Term: 2018-2021
Dawn has lived in Rossford for almost 15 years and has three children, Brian (’14), Johnathan and Brandon who have or is attending Rossford Schools.  She has been on the Board since 2010 and has served on various committees such as, Facilities Committee, Policy Committee, Recreation Board, DLT, just to name a few.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and was a scholar athlete all four years in track and field and she received her masters from BGSU. Her extensive background in education has led her to work in various areas within the field at both UT and BGSU and currently at Perrysburg High School as a school counselor.  She serves on several scholarship committees to provide funding to students who are planning to attend college and has been an active Track and Field official for the OHSAA in the Northwest Region for 10 years.

Jackie Huffman, Vice President

Jackie Huffman
Term: 2018-2021
Jackie is a lifelong resident of the Rossford School District and a Rossford High School graduate, continuing in her third year on the School Board. She is married to Rex Huffman and the mother of six children. Jackie's fifth child was instrumental in her passion and decision to run for school board as he bravely battled and lost his life to cancer his high school junior year. Jackie is a former business owner and current Registered Nurse with degrees in accounting and nursing. She has been involved in PTO serving as treasurer, vice president and president during her children's elementary school years. Jackie is a lifelong member at Lutheran Church of the Master and has been involved in Christian education for the past 30 years as a Sunday school and VBS teacher.

Sharon Belkofer, Member

Sharon Belkofer
Term: 2016-2019
Sharon attended St. Mary Magdalene School and graduated from Rossford High School.  She has been married to Don Belkofer for 52 years and is the mother of three sons, Don, Tom and Doug; grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 4.  She has lived in the district for 56 years, 11 in Rossford and 45 in the township.  She is a retired Registered Nurse from St. Charles Hospital and is a graduate from Heidelberg University with a degree in Healthcare Administration.  She has served in various capacities for the Lucas County EMS system, volunteered for 13 years at the Toledo Area United Way, life member of the Board of Trustees for the East Toledo Family Center, volunteers at St. Charles Hospital and has been active in school activities throughout her children’s years in Rossford schools, particularly Glenwood PTA and Rossford Athletic Boosters.  She has served on two Master Steering Committee subcommittees and served or chaired on school levy committees.

Tiffany Densic, Member

Tiffany Densic
Term: 2016-2019
Tiffany is a 14-year resident of Rossford and has spent the past decade volunteering her time and financial experience to the school district as the past chair of the Finance Committee and a member of the Master Plan Finance subcommittee.  She has worked for five years at Ayers Wealth Management as an Insurance Advisor and Client Services Associate.  Her focus is on the facilities and finance of the district and she has chosen to be involved with Rossford Exempted Village Schools to help better the opportunities for ALL students and improve the learning environment.

Kent Murphree, Member

Kent Murphree
Term 2016-2019
Kent is a founding partner of the law firm of Heban, Sommer & Murphree, LLC, which is located in downtown Rossford.  He has lived in Rossford for approximately 11 years with his wife, Susan (Schick), who is a Rossford High School graduate.  They have three sons, Jackson, Reed, and Garette, who all attend Rossford Schools.  He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Rossford Public Library and serves as a volunteer varsity assistant basketball coach for Rossford High School.   Kent holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo where he played basketball from 1990 to 1992, having attended junior college at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kansas from 1988 to 1990 where he played basketball for his father, Ron Murphree.  He received his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1995 and is licensed to practice in Ohio and Michigan.
