College Credit Plus

Ohio’s College Credit Plus can help you earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a college course from a public college or university is free. That means no cost for tuition, books or fees. If you choose to attend a private college or university, you may have limited costs.

Sample Pathways for CCP Students

The College Credit Plus program requires each participating Institution of Higher Education partner to establish 15- and 30-credit hour pathways for high schools to offer their students ensuring they are taking general education courses that are transferable and fulfill general elective requirements at any Ohio public college or university.

Occupational Outlook Handbook

For hundreds of different types of jobs—such as teacher, lawyer, and nurse—the Occupational Outlook Handbook tells you the training and education needed, earnings, expected job prospects, what workers do on the job, and working conditions.

Penta Career Center

Penta Career Center is open to Rossford students. Sophomores and juniors interested in attending Penta Career Center for their junior and/or senior year should contact their high school counselor or contact the Penta Student Services.

The new Ohio Means Jobs website has integrated job and career information for Ohioans that includes types of jobs, careers, and training, career planning and career exploration, information on scholarships, colleges and universities.
